More Good News: Tony Gonzalez Shows He's a Hero, Even Off the Field..

He's Probably Better Than You and Me Too.......

Kansas City Chiefs Tight End Tont Gonzalez is already know across the NFL as great player, and an even better citizen. Well, he polished his armor a bit more this week..

He was eating at a restaurant in California this week, when a man at a nearby table started choking on a piece of meat. He began to turn blue, when Gonzalez jumped from his table (reports are he was not wearing a cape), and he did the Heimlich manuever on the guy, dislodging the food and saving the guy's life.

The amazing part is that Gonzalez was NEVER trained to do the Heimlich, although he saw it somewhere once. But he was the only one who thought on his toes and saved the man. Pretty Cool. The irony of it all ? The man was a San Diego Chargers fan. Notice I said WAS a Chargers fan......

Yeah, there are some bad apples in the league, but Gonzo has a pretty stellar reputation.
