The World's Oldest Blogger Passes Away...

Olive Riley, 1899-2008

It is with a lot of sadness and a heavy heart that we here at SC6 remember the passing of Olive Riley, the world's oldest internet blogger. She was 108. Yes, Riley, from Australia, was 108, and she managed to post for a good year and a half, writing a total of 26 posts. That may be lightweight standards compared to us here, but I can guarantee you that SC6 will not be posting in the year 2076.

Her posts were probably more interesting than ours (c'mon, how many more 'Jim Clyburn Sucks' posts can I crank out?), and i'm sure they were more positive. I may be cranky, but this proves that I'm not the 'oldest blogger'..... Technically, my title is 'Biggest Douchebag Blogger Alive'. I have it on my business cards and nametag at work. It's copyrighted and everything......

Sorry, I'm losing focus again... Olive did have a lot of notoriety for her blog, and those of us in the blogosphere mourn her passing and honor her memory, her bucking of prejudices , and her spirit.... Aussie, Aussie, Aussie - Oy, Oy, Oy !!!!!
