How Do You Win the Nobel Peace Prize for a Movie ?

Nelson Mandela, Mother Teresa, Desmond Tutu.......... Al Gore? All together now - WTF?? Today, in addition to the Oscar and Emmy that he won, Al Gore won the Nobel Peace prize for his work on Global Warming. You heard me right - the Nobel PEACE Prize. Must have been a slow year for peace. Personally, I would have voted for George Clooney for that Save Darfur commercial or Angelina Jolie for adopting that African baby.....
Seriously, of all the people doing good work in the world 24/7, they give a Nobel Prize to a guy who made a movie partially based on speculation. Some of 'An Incovenient Truth' makes sense, but parts I do not take as gospel. If it were, Gore should be taking home a science related award.
Gore winning this confirms one thing - that the Nobel Prize is a political award, rather than an impartial one. In my opinion, it cheapens the award, and is a slap in the face of people who are actually doing good in the world.......

You win it from a committee that gave the same prize to Arafat... subtle hint, committee is composed of Scandinavian leftists that haven't a clue. Though the take from Tehran on that award is isnightful.
