SC Dems Announce They Have a Candidate for Treasurer - Al Gore III .

I'm Not Sure He'll Use This Photo for His Posters...........
The SC Democratic Party had a press conference this weekend to announce an early commitment for a statewide seat. It appears that they have talked former Vice-President Al Gore's son , Al III, to run for SC Treasurer, currently held by Converse Chellis, who replaced the embattled Thomas Ravenel.
In a terse, smart-alecky announcement, SC Dem Chair Carol Fowler said, " We here at SCDP are responsive. We listen to the voters. And since Mr. Ravenel was apperenty the voters choice in 2006, we plan to run the closest thing we have to him......... Al Gore III." Gore, 24, was arrested earlier this year for driving more than 100 MPH and for possession of marijuana .
When asked to elaborate on Gore's qualifications, Fowler growled, "He's young, he's got a good pedigree, and he likes the herb - he's Ravenel's twin. Case Closed. I don't make the rules of who South Carolina wants, I just find the body to fill the seat. We may also run him for Lt. Governor too. I didn't even know you could get a Prius up to 100 MPH. If Andre Bauer wants to drag race from Columbia to Greenville, he's got a challenge now."
Gore was unavailable for comment, so SC6 isn't even sure if he knows of SCDP's plan. Fowler seemed unfazed. "We've got three years to prep him. I just hope he doesn't go through one of those rehab facilities........ that might hurt his electability. No problem - we've got a plan here."

100 MPH in California as a matter of fact.

So has Al III been touring with Drew Theodore in his Porsche? Does A3 also think of Columbia as the armpit of North Carolina?

Enquring minds are numbed, just bieng downwind.

he looks about as stable as Ravenel.

moye, I've been trying to recall the charges A3 faced in 2000 in NC, when he faced a similar bust about the time of the DNC National Convention. That drew an even more frantic effort to smear the Bush twins as a diversion.

Just glad Mike spelled Prius correctly, rhinos know too many words.

The conflicting part is being stoned an still driving 100 MPH. Everytime I got high, 55 seemed like a million MPH.....I seem to remember getting passed by old ladies on a Rascal..

Is that Al3's Kiefer Sutherland, Smoking Gun pose, since Donald's boy was busted for DUI... maybe we'll have the late movie star entry in this race to test the watrers for George Clooney in the Dmes race for the Presidential bid.
