The NFL in England.......... Bad Idea.

My Giants Win a Sloppy 13-10 Game in Wembley Stadium......

I never watched an NFL game in slow motion before today. Football is one of the few sports that you can usually play in bad weather. In fact , football in snow is great. But, football on a soaked , thin piece of turf is not good at all.........

I understand the NFL wants to make football a worldwide game, but there is one problem...... The rest of the world hates football. Football to them is Soccer. Our Football to them is very boring, and it lacks strategy. I repeat - they HATE American football. This is all a play for money, and I hate when I am reminded that the NFL is a business.

It was nice to see all the different teams represented by the uniforms the fans were wearing, but Wembley Stadium was the wrong place to have it. Wembley is a soccer field. There is no crown for drainage, and they cut the grass way too short, so the turf is very weak. The turf got all torn up, so the players played like they were on ice skates.

In short, Good Fans, Good Game, Bad Arena...

Yeah, but I couldn't stand watching the game, it was so bad.

And what made most of the sports talk was that someone lost a home game and all of the trickle down dinero didn't get in to the pockets of the little guys that handle parking and concessions, souviner sales, etc.

For a lark check the link as to "footy".
