So, you just can't wait to find out who Barack Obama will pick as his Vice-Presidential candidate? (Hint: It's Joe Biden). Okay, so you can't wait to find OFFICIALLY who it is..... Well, those nifty folks at Team Obama has come up with another way to may you feel more special and involved in the campaign...

How about a text or e-mail telling you who it is BEFORE the media does? Yeah, I know. No one in politics can keep a secret for more than 5 minutes, and no doubt someone at all the networks will be on the list, so you might find out 30 seconds before it hits the airwaves. But, it is another way the Obama campaign has made it's supporters feel like they are part of something big. Ask a McCain supporter if they feel like they are really part of the campaign, and they'll probably tell you no.

Maybe it's because we're in South Carolina, and a McCain win is pretty much a forgone conclusion, but there is very little going on here. No calls, no organization - I did get one fundraising letter a month ago. Aside from that, it's been pretty quiet.
